She met Him
in the space between two horizons
and called out,
“Here I am.”

He answered,
“Here we are, for I am with you.”

From that day forward she found her joy
in loving those He entrusted to her.
For she did it on behalf of the One who sent her.

All cultures, all creeds, all colors, all ages … they came.
Upon each suffering face she saw His and responded with Love.
Buried deep within their swollen eyes she felt Him,
and bathed them with Love.

Sweet Love. Perfect Love. Always Love.
For in the space between two horizons
there was nothing but … Love.
