when your eyes close

and your heart opens,

accepting the unseen,

welcoming it home

to the fireside

where oh-so-soft light dances,

amidst the sparks of joy!

As ever,

smoldering in the darkness

hardness turns to ash,

weightless wisps of nothingness,

drifting away silently.

It’s effortless, this becoming,

fire being fire,

you being you.
